Does Votel have a blog or CMS for my website?
Yes. The website builder has blogs and CMS collections. There is no WordPress hosting.
- Open your website in the website builder and create a new collection. Name it, for example blog, and your site gets a /blog address. A collection can be a blog or any type of item, such as employees or restaurants.
- Design the templates: a single post page and a list of posts page. You have full access to the HTML, and you can tell the AI to make the post page match your website.
- Add entries, similar to WordPress. Entries are listed in an entries table and saved in the database.
You can give the AI assistant your written blog posts and ask it to put them on the website. If you only need your old blog posts on the new site as plain pages, import them as static pages by pasting the site into the import tool. You can have as many pages as you want, and the sitemap is generated automatically as long as it is turned on in the site settings.
The CMS is for public-facing websites. There is no back-end CMS for uploading and editing things like video trainings or documents.
